Klinische Wissenschaft ist integraler Bestandteil der Arbeit im Team der Pädiatrischen Infektiologie. Sie ist getrieben von dem Wunsch, Vorsorge, Diagnostik, Therapie und Nachsorge sowie das Verständnis von Infektionen beständig zu verbessern. Hier finden Sie einen Auszug der aktuell laufenden Forschungs-Projekte:

  • Teilnahme an randomisierter Studie zur tele-medizinischen infektiologischen Beratung im Sinne von Antibiotic Stewardship. (verlinken: https://www.tele-kasper.de/tele-kasper)
  • Anwendung von moderner molekulargenetischer Diagnostik (Next Generation Sequencing) bei Kindern nach Leber-Transplantation oder Knochenmark-Transplantation mit Sepsis
  • Erhebung invasiver bakterieller Infektionen nach Ende der Pandemie
  • Erhebung von Besiedlungen mit multi-resistenten Keimen bei ukrainischen Flüchtlingen
  • Immunologische Aufarbeitung von Kindern mit Folgeerkrankungen nach Sars-CoV2 wie PIMS oder LongCOVID
  • Untersuchung zum Einfluss von individualisierten Sportprogrammen auf die
  • Krankheitsaktivität von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit LongCOVID und ausgeprägter Fatigue
